Located in the heart of Downtown, Vancouver – CBC Studios 700 has a gorgeous Romeo & Juliet balcony overlooking CBC Radio Station and Library Square. The spacious 2748 square feet community space is where you will experience an enchanted night.
While the sun sets over Vancouver and stars start to fill the sky, guests will be transported into an enchanted forest straight from the fairytales of their youth.
Surrounded by twinkling lights and twisted tree branches, guests will partake in a cocktail reception that will raise funds for Eversafe Ranch Outreach Society. While there, guests will be treated to a night of enchantment with chances to bid on silent auction items while being served hors d’oeuvres and beverages throughout the night.
Eversafe Ranch Outreach Society
Judy and Alan Daser are the founders of Eversafe Ranch Outreach Society. They began by holding free small barbeques in impoverished neighbourhoods of Surrey, BC. From there, they expanded by regularly hosting more barbeques and dinners.
Eversafe runs a non-profit thrift store, located at 5641 176A Street in Surrey, BC. They also provide free furniture, household items, and clothing to families transitioning out of shelters.
Fundraising for a Good Cause
The goal is to raise $15,000 to purchase a bus for Eversafe Ranch Outreach Society. They hope that purchasing a bus will help families in need with free transportation to Eversafe events. Currently they are renting/borrowing transportation, but with a bus of their own they can launch their current project; where children living in shelters/secondary housing can partake in recreational programs. In order for this project to succeed, they need a transportation vehicle to safely transfer children to and from these programs.
Eversafe helps about 700 families each year, in the Lower Mainland, transition from shelters to a home of their own.
